I used to believe you couldn’t mix denim and look super chic… but I was wrong. Yes, I admit! In this outfit I mixed a light Chambray button-up shirt that ties at the waist with my favorite pair of dark wash, wide leg jeans; threw on a scarf because although the sun was out, it was a little nippy in the shade. I wore this outfit with my camel-colored boots, a chucky blue and gold necklace and geek specs.
As for my hair… I call it the Insta-bun! Probably the most ingenious and effortless hair style ever… I just pulled my hair into a pony tail and pinned on my Insta-bun and I was all set!
Chambray shirt: Land’s End ($6), Used to be a dress, but I liked it better as a shirt :)
Dark Wash Jeans: I got these from Sears of all places in the plus section ($12)
Scarf: Old Navy ($4.99)
Necklace: Thrifted ($1.98)
Boots: Dots ($26 I think)
Geek Specs: Were a pair of cheap sunglasses that I popped the lenses out of
